This Evidence Policy explains how Azeroth Plus researches, writes, and updates World of Warcraft: Forever coverage. Our goal is to make it clear what Blizzard has confirmed, what has been observed or reported, and what remains uncertain.
Primary sources first
When available, we start with official Blizzard announcements, panel recaps, developer statements, published roadmaps, and current in-game information. Primary sources establish whether a feature, date, class option, region, dungeon, or system has actually been announced. We link to the source close to the relevant claim so readers can check the context themselves.
How we use testing and secondary sources
Beta builds and direct in-game observations can clarify how an announced feature currently works. For changing details, useful context may include the date, build, character level, or testing situation. Screenshots and videos can document what appeared in a particular build, but do not by themselves establish that the same value or behavior is final.
Reputable reporting, interviews, screenshots, and community research can add context or help document details that are not yet organized in an official guide. We identify secondary sourcing where practical and distinguish reporting from a direct Blizzard statement. Community discussion can help surface a question; it is not treated as confirmation on its own.
Confirmed, observed, reported, and speculative
- Confirmed: supported by an official Blizzard source or a clear in-game source for the current version.
- Observed in beta: seen in a test build or gameplay session; it may change before or after launch.
- Reported: described by a credible source but not yet confirmed by Blizzard or independently verified.
- Speculation: analysis or a possibility, labeled clearly and never stated as an announced fact.
Dates, builds, and changing details
Beta content can change quickly. Articles may include the date, build, or source context for testing information. A launch announcement does not automatically confirm the schedule for every individual dungeon, raid, feature, or reward. If Blizzard updates a detail, we revise the relevant coverage and its source trail when practical.
Corrections and updates
If you find an error, outdated detail, broken link, or stronger source, please use the Contact page. Include the article URL, the specific claim, and a source or test context when possible. We review corrections against the available evidence; a suggested change is not automatically accepted without support.
For current coverage, visit the WoW Forever news hub or the main WoW Forever hub. As the beta and game develop, dates and page contents may be updated; readers should consult linked official sources for the latest announcements.
