RestedXP’s WoW Forever guides have received a major update ahead of the November 4 launch. Stage 1 of the roadmap is complete, with faction-specific leveling routes through level 35 for both Alliance and Horde. RestedXP says the routes will continue to improve throughout beta as players share feedback.
October 9 guide update: Stage 1 is complete
The update adds the Skyborne starting zone, with separate routes for Horde levels 1–12 and Alliance levels 1–14. Each route uses the Skyborne racial ability and transitions into Silverpine Forest or Westfall when the starting experience ends. It also adds class quests in the new zone, including Hunter pet taming, Druid Bear Form, and the Shaman Fire Totem.
RestedXP reports 62 new Alliance quests and 63 new Horde quests, including the Undead Paladin “Redemption” chain. The update supports the new race and class combinations: Dwarf Shamans, Gnome Priests, and Human Hunters for Alliance; Undead Paladins, Orc Mages, and Troll Warlocks for Horde. Routing updates also add the Sleeping Bag chain and faster travel by the new boats.

What comes after Stage 1?
Stage 2, the Dungeon Leveling Guide, is underway. Stage 3 is planned for after launch and includes Forever-specific levels 35–60 routes for the Speedrun and Dungeon Leveling guides, plus the Discovery feature and Legacy Guide. Until those Forever routes are finished, levels 35–60 use RestedXP’s existing Era guides. That means a route to level 60 is available from launch, with Era content covering the upper levels for now.
