Brewfest is back for 2026, and Zygor has updated its event guides to help players work through the holiday before it ends. The official update covers Retail, TBC Anniversary, and Mists of Pandaria Classic, with new and revised quest guidance across the supported versions.
Brewfest runs from September 21 through October 6, 2026. Alliance players can begin at the Ironforge entrance, Horde players can start at the Orgrimmar entrance, and the event also points players toward Khaz Algar content.
What Zygor updated for Brewfest
Zygor’s September 21 update lists Brewfest quest guide additions for both Retail factions. The update also includes revised Brewfest quests for TBC Anniversary and Mists of Pandaria Classic.
- Retail Alliance: updated Brewfest quests with a guide added.
- Retail Horde: updated Brewfest quests with a guide added.
- TBC Anniversary and Mists of Pandaria Classic: updated Brewfest quests with a guide added.
For Retail, Zygor lists the update alongside version 9.6.37168. The guide notes are focused on helping players find the event content and keep track of the limited-time rewards available during the festival.
Complete these Brewfest tasks early
Zygor’s recommended checklist is straightforward, but the limited event window makes timing important:
- Visit Coren Direbrew every day for a chance at mounts and other drops.
- Start the Khaz Algar quests early, while more players are active and groups are easier to find.
- Collect Brewfest Prize Tokens through daily quests, scenario participation, and the festival’s mini-games.
- Check the event vendor before October 6 so you do not miss cosmetics or other rewards that are only available during Brewfest.
Why Brewfest is worth prioritizing
Brewfest is a short seasonal event, so waiting until the final day can make the daily activities and group content harder to organize. Players who want the event mounts, cosmetics, or token rewards should build the festival into their daily routine while it is active.
The biggest practical takeaway from Zygor’s update is that the event coverage is ready now across the supported versions. You can use the guide to keep the checklist moving while still choosing which rewards and activities matter most for your character.
