This WoW Forever Murloc quest route covers three useful Elwynn Forest quests around Crystal Lake: A Net Disaster, Slimy Menace, and Bottles and Baubles. The route keeps the fishing-trap search and the nearby murloc camp together, so you can finish several objectives in one trip. It is an Alliance quest route for low-level characters; check your current quest log and enemy levels because Forever details can change between builds.

A Net Disaster: search Crystal Lake for Half-Eaten Fish

Start with A Net Disaster. Jason Mathers asks you to investigate the fishing traps around Crystal Lake and recover seven Half-Eaten Fish. Look along the lake edge and in the shallow water, checking the trap objects as you make a full sweep. Wowhead player notes point out that traps can be easy to miss from the road; search the shore carefully and check the water if your tracker is short. The objective is the trap, not simply killing nearby creatures.

Make this pass before the murloc fights if you want a cleaner route. Keep the lake shoreline in view and watch the tracker after each interaction so you do not circle the whole area a second time. When all seven fish are counted, head toward the murloc camp near the lake.

Slimy Menace and Bottles and Baubles: clear the murloc camp

Pick up or track Slimy Menace and Bottles and Baubles before you start clearing the camp. Slimy Menace asks for four Murloc Streamrunners and seven Murlocs. Bottles and Baubles asks you to collect six pieces of Shiny Junk from the nearby murlocs and rewards a Shiny Silver Coin. Since both objectives use the same general camp, loot and check both trackers as you fight instead of leaving after the kill count is done.

Pull one or two enemies at a time if your character is still fragile. The camp can turn messy if several murlocs join the fight, and objective drops may not finish at the same pace as the kill count. Search bodies for the shiny items, then widen your sweep across the camp before assuming the remaining junk is a long respawn. If the area is busy, keep moving between edges of the camp and avoid dragging extra enemies into a fight.

Finish the route and turn in

Before leaving Crystal Lake, confirm seven Half-Eaten Fish, the Slimy Menace kill counts, and six Shiny Junk in the respective quest trackers. Return to Jason Mathers for the Crystal Lake quests when they are complete. If one tracker is short, retrace the lake edge for the traps or search the murloc camp again for lootable junk. Nearby quests such as Collecting Kelp may overlap with this area, but this guide and the videos below focus on A Net Disaster, Slimy Menace, and Bottles and Baubles.
