Boahn is a rare creature associated with the Wailing Caverns area in the Barrens. This WoW Classic guide follows the cave search route from the video and distinguishes the outdoor cave area from the dungeon instance.
Where to find Boahn
Travel to the Wailing Caverns cave system and search the accessible cave passages shown in the walkthrough. Boahn is reported in the cavern area outside the instanced dungeon, so do not assume that entering the dungeon portal is required. Follow the cave route, check the ledges and open pockets along the way, and use the video’s landmarks to recognize the search area.
Because rare spawns can be killed or temporarily absent, treat any coordinates or route as a search area rather than a guaranteed point. Sweep the nearby ground and check again later if the creature is not present. The Boahn entry on Wowhead Classic has the creature database details and community location notes.
Search tips for this rare
The cave is easy to confuse with the dungeon interior, and the rare may be absent when you arrive. Search the route carefully, then circle back later if needed. We avoid assigning a guaranteed exact pin or respawn timer because community reports can vary across Classic versions and realms.
Follow the route shown in the video for a practical visual reference. If you are comparing classic hunter pets, see our guides to Takk the Leaper and Humar the Pridelord, or browse the WoW Classic and Vanilla guides hub.
Watch the Boahn location video
The walkthrough shows the actual search and encounter. Respawn reports can differ by version and server, so we do not promise a fixed timer.
