Humar the Pridelord is a rare black lion in the Barrens and one of WoW Classic’s iconic hunter pets. This location guide follows the in-game route and explains how to search the reported area without relying on a single uncertain spawn point.
Where to find Humar the Pridelord
Look for Humar near the northern Barrens coast, around the tree and rocky ground reported for this rare. The area is accessible from the main Barrens roads, but do not stop at the tree alone: circle nearby paths and check the surrounding terrain. The video shows the approach and gives a practical visual cue for the search.
Because rare spawns can be killed or temporarily absent, treat any coordinates or route as a search area rather than a guaranteed point. Sweep the nearby ground and check again later if the creature is not present. The Humar the Pridelord entry on Wowhead Classic has the creature database details and community location notes.
Search tips for this rare
Humar may be absent if another player has recently found him. Sweep the nearby coastline and adjacent ground, then return later if needed. Hunters should be ready to tame the cat at the appropriate level and should expect other players to be looking for this well-known rare.
Follow the route shown in the video for a practical visual reference. If you are comparing classic hunter pets, see our guides to Takk the Leaper and The Rake, or browse the WoW Classic and Vanilla guides hub.
