Warriors use weapons, armor, and Rage to meet enemies head-on. In the familiar Azeroth class lineup, they are a direct fit for players who enjoy active melee combat and the option to take a frontline role in groups.
Warrior playstyle
Warriors are built around weapon choices, positioning, and responding to the pace of a fight. Their established toolkit includes routes into tanking or damage, but the exact value of talents and gear in Forever should be learned from its own current build rather than copied from an older version.
Forever: confirmed direction and open details
Blizzard says Forever will preserve Classic’s deliberate, tactical combat and keep classes distinct, each with meaningful strengths and weaknesses. The Deep Dive does not detail a Warrior-specific new ability or talent overhaul. It describes broader class goals: selected class buffs moving into baseline kits, level 16 as a talent milestone, and an aim for all 27 talent trees to be viable group options. These are design goals, not a ranking or performance guarantee.
Race options and related guides
Warrior is one of the classes available to both Horde- and Alliance-aligned Skyborne. The Skyborne guide covers that faction-specific roster. For all current combinations, see the compatibility guide; for the broader class overview, return to the Classes hub.
