Warlocks use curses, destructive magic, and demonic companions. They suit players who enjoy dark spellcasting, managing a companion, and combining damage with effects that hinder or pressure opponents.
Warlock playstyle
Warlocks bring ranged spell damage and utility to the classic class roster. Managing curses, a demon, and the pace of a fight gives the class its own rhythm. Blizzard’s stated goal for Forever is to maintain those distinct class strengths while keeping combat deliberate and tactical.
Troll Warlock: confirmed for Forever
Blizzard named Troll Warlock as one of six new race-and-class combinations. The new pairing expands the available character story and does not, by itself, imply a special Troll Warlock ability or stronger build. Blizzard has not published such class-specific mechanics in the Deep Dive recap.
The broader talent plan includes selected class buffs becoming baseline, a talent milestone at level 16, and the goal of making all 27 trees viable group options. These are announced design goals. Final talent details, tuning, and performance should be confirmed from the current build.
