Trolls carry the history of ancient tribes, varied traditions, and fierce independence. In World of Warcraft: Forever, Blizzard has confirmed a new pairing that expands how Troll characters can approach magic.

Troll identity and playstyle
Troll characters draw on a long history of distinct tribes and cultural traditions. Their identity is a good fit for players who want a strong sense of ancestry and a character whose story is tied to Azeroth’s older conflicts. Choose by the culture and adventure you want, not by outdated claims that one race is mandatory for a role.
Troll Warlock: confirmed
Blizzard confirmed Troll Warlock as one of six new race-and-class combinations. The pairing adds the Warlock’s curses, destructive spellcasting, and demonic companions to Troll character options. The announcement does not include a Troll-specific Warlock build or any class balance guarantee.
Forever is also revising racial abilities around two active and two passive abilities per race, aiming for comparable offensive value while retaining signature utility. The Deep Dive shared specific racial examples for Dwarves and the Undead, but not a complete Troll ability list. Exact tooltips and tuning remain to be announced.
