The Undead, also called the Forsaken, are people who reclaimed their will after death and built a society in the remains of Lordaeron. Blizzard has confirmed both notable Undead racial revisions and a striking new class pairing for Forever.

Forsaken identity and playstyle
Undead characters carry stories of survival, self-determination, and life among the ruins of Lordaeron. That history gives the race a distinct place in the Horde and makes its class choices especially evocative for players interested in Warcraft’s darker corners.
Confirmed Undead racial updates
Blizzard’s Deep Dive described a two-active, two-passive ability framework for races, with offensive value tuned to be comparable while preserving signature utility. The Undead examples include changes to Will of the Forsaken, an update to Cannibalize so it restores Mana as well as Health, and Touch of the Grave as a new life-draining offensive trait. The official recap should be consulted for exact wording; final values and interactions can still change during development.
Undead Paladin: a new path
Undead Paladin is one of the six combinations Blizzard confirmed. It brings a traditionally holy class into the Forsaken story, but Blizzard has not announced a special mount name or race-specific Paladin mechanics. See the Paladin guide for the class update summary and the Forsaken Paladin news article for the existing Forsaken Paladin announcement.
