Orcs are a Horde race with a history shaped by migration, conflict, and the effort to build a future across Azeroth. Choose an Orc for that perspective and visual identity, then choose a class for its combat style and role in your group.
Orc classes in Forever
Blizzard’s September 22 overview lists Hunter, Mage, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior for Orcs. Orc Mage is one of six newly announced race-and-class combinations. The class list offers ranged hunting, several forms of spellcasting, stealth, elemental support, and direct melee combat.

Orc racials: confirmed status
Blizzard is redesigning racial kits around two active and two passive abilities for each race, aiming to preserve distinctive utility while bringing offensive value into a comparable range. The public Deep Dive examples do not include a complete Orc tooltip list. Check current in-game beta tooltips for exact Orc effects and values; avoid relying on older-version rankings.
Choosing an Orc class
Orc Mage is a confirmed new pairing if you want spellcasting with an Orc character story. Hunter brings ranged attacks and a companion, Shaman uses elemental themes, Warlock offers a separate caster fantasy, Rogue specializes in stealth, and Warrior emphasizes weapons. Your preferred role and group needs are better guides than a beta tier list that can change.
