Gnomes bring ingenuity, curiosity, and the inventive history of Gnomeregan to World of Warcraft: Forever. Their class roster now includes a newly announced option: Priest. Here is what Blizzard has confirmed about Gnome class access, plus links to the wider race and class guides.
Gnome identity and faction
Gnomes are an Alliance race with a culture built around engineering, problem solving, and rebuilding after hardship. Their compact frame and technical reputation make for a distinctive character fantasy, while their Forever class list spans ranged combat, spellcasting, healing, stealth, and close-quarters fighting.
Gnome classes in Forever
Blizzard lists Gnome access to Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. Gnome Priest is newly confirmed among the six announced combinations. The announcement establishes access, while detailed Forever builds and rankings depend on the evolving beta.

Racial abilities and beta details
Blizzard’s redesign gives each race a kit of two active and two passive abilities, with room for signature utility. The Deep Dive recap does not publish a full Gnome tooltip list. Use the current in-game beta tooltips for ability names and values; older versions of World of Warcraft can use different racial effects.
Choosing a Gnome character
Choose the class that matches the way you want to play. Mage and Warlock offer different spellcaster themes; Priest adds healing and Shadow options; Rogue favors stealth and close combat; Warrior focuses on weapons and direct fighting. If a particular class matters most, confirm it is available to your faction before character creation.

September 24, 2026 beta update
Blizzard’s latest notes clarify the Gnome racial Eureka: it reduces the cost of Mana-, Rage-, and Energy-spending abilities by 10% for every class. Gnome Priests also receive two listed updates: Contingency Plan can critically heal, and Confounding Flash now has a cast visual. These are beta implementation details and may change.
