Gnomes are inventive citizens of Azeroth whose curiosity and technical imagination often lead them to explore problems from unusual angles. World of Warcraft: Forever adds a newly announced option that pairs this identity with the Priest class.
Gnome identity and playstyle
Gnomes are a natural fit for players who enjoy ingenuity, experimentation, and the history of Gnomeregan. Their small stature is no measure of their ambition, and their culture gives a Gnome character a distinctive point of view in the Alliance.
Gnome Priest: confirmed for Forever
Blizzard confirmed Gnome Priest as one of six new race-and-class combinations. It brings together Gnome inventiveness and the Priest’s toolkit for healing, protection, and Shadow magic. The announcement establishes that the combination is planned; it does not yet define a strongest specialization or build.
Forever’s racial redesign is planned around two active and two passive abilities per race, with comparable offensive value and room for signature utility. Blizzard has not published Gnome-specific tooltips in the Deep Dive recap. We will keep this guide clear about that boundary instead of importing old racial numbers from another version.
