Orcs are a resilient people whose history in Azeroth is shaped by struggle, clan ties, and the effort to define a future on their own terms. Forever expands their character choices with a newly confirmed magical path.

Orc identity and playstyle
Orc characters bring the stories of the Horde and its peoples into the center of your journey. Their established cultural themes include resilience, community, and hard-won identity. Choose an Orc for the story and look that speak to you, then select a class for how you want to play rather than relying on old-version rankings.
Orc Mage: confirmed for Forever
Blizzard named Orc Mage among the six new race-and-class combinations announced at the Deep Dive. The combination connects Orc heritage with a ranged spellcasting role. Specific Forever talent interactions, damage values, and build recommendations have not been established by the announcement.
Blizzard’s racial redesign gives every race two active and two passive abilities, with offensive value intended to be comparable while preserving distinctive utility. The recap’s detailed examples focus on Dwarves and the Undead, not a complete Orc ability list. Orc-specific tooltip details remain open.
